Re-Inspection Rescue · Las Vegas Valley

Downgraded? You have 15 business days. Let's use them well.

A B or C grade isn't the end; it's a deadline. I'll help you correct every violation, retrain the team on why it happened, and walk in ready for the re-inspection.

Mark your message urgent and it goes to the top of my list. I personally reply to every message within 2 business hours, Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm.

The clock, explained calmly

Nobody hands you a timeline when the grade goes up in the window. Here is exactly what happens next, in order, so you can plan instead of panic.

10 business days

Your re-inspection fee is due to SNHD within 10 business days of the downgrade.

15 business days

SNHD schedules the re-inspection after 15 business days. You can request it sooner once you're ready.

10 or fewer

To return to an A, the re-inspection must score 10 demerits or fewer, with no repeats of the violations that were cited.

The real numbers, stated once because you deserve them straight: an inspection that ends in a C downgrade carries a $1,524 fee, and a closure carries $1,826, on top of the business you lose while the grade hangs in the window. And if a C-grade kitchen fails its re-inspection, the next step is closure.

Now the part that matters: all of it is fixable.

Every violation on that report has a known correction, and most of them are faster and cheaper to fix than owners fear. The 15 business days are not a countdown to something bad. They are working time, and with a clear plan they are usually more than enough.

Proof it's fixable

This isn't a pep talk. It's what SNHD's own numbers show.

In SNHD's public reports to its Board of Health, the restaurants closed in September 2025 typically reopened within 1 to 6 days. And they didn't scrape by: they passed their re-inspections with zero demerits. Not 10 or fewer. Zero. Kitchens that had just been closed came back cleaner than most kitchens ever get scored.

The problems are almost always fixable. What most kitchens are missing is someone who knows exactly what the inspector needs to see.

That's the job. I read inspection reports for a living once, and I wrote them. I know what each violation means, why it was cited, and what a corrected version looks like to the person holding the clipboard next time.

What the rescue includes

One flat price, everything below, until you've walked back in ready.

  • A same-week on-site visit. I come to your restaurant, inspection report in hand, and we go through your kitchen together.
  • A violation-by-violation correction plan. Every line on the SNHD report gets its own fix: what to do, why it was cited, and how to keep it from coming back. Plain language your whole team can follow.
  • A staff briefing on the why. Your crew hears the reason behind each fix, not just the instruction. People are more likely to follow food safety practices when they understand the reason behind them, and repeat violations are exactly what the re-inspection punishes.
  • A pre-re-inspection walkthrough. Before SNHD returns, I walk your kitchen the way the inspector will, so the real visit holds no surprises.
  • Supervisory conference preparation. If your situation requires a conference with the District, I'll help you understand the process and get your documentation in order.

Re-Inspection Rescue: $1,250 flat

Less than the $1,524 fee a C downgrade already carries, and far less than a closure. No hourly meter, no add-ons. All prices for every service are published on the pricing page.

Questions owners ask me after a downgrade

Can you guarantee I get my A back?

No one can, and be wary of anyone who says otherwise. The grade is decided by SNHD's inspector on the day, and I'm a former inspector with no influence over that decision. What I can do is make sure nothing on that report is a surprise: every violation corrected, every fix understood by your team, and a practice walkthrough done before the real one.

Do you talk to SNHD for me?

No. I prepare you; the inspection is between you and the Health District. I'm an independent educational consultant. I don't conduct government inspections, represent the District, or have any inside track. What I bring is the knowledge of how inspections work, pointed at your success.

How fast can you get to my restaurant?

The rescue includes a same-week on-site visit, and downgrades go to the front of my schedule. Send the contact form and mark your message urgent; it goes to the top of my list. I personally reply to every message within 2 business hours, Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm.

What if I was closed, not just downgraded?

The same service applies, with more urgency. A closed restaurant can't reopen until it passes a re-inspection, so the correction plan and walkthrough happen as fast as your kitchen can move. SNHD's own reports show closed restaurants typically reopening in 1 to 6 days, and I'll also help you prepare for the supervisory conference if one is required.

Is the $1,250 really flat?

Yes. One price covers the same-week visit, the violation-by-violation correction plan, the staff briefing, the pre-re-inspection walkthrough, and supervisory conference preparation if you need it. No hourly meter, no surprise invoice. Every price I charge is on the pricing page.
